Boston Artist and John West’s Grandfather
Boston Artist, born in Nova Scotia in 1875, was a resident of Milton, Massachusetts, and in the early 20th century, was commissioned by the Walter Baker Chocolate Company to paint the company’s trademark chocolate lady to hang in their corporate headquarters in Milton Lower Mills.

Delaney’s creativity, work ethics and family values were examples of important characteristics that inspired his grandson, John P. West, the award winning Nantucket Chocolatier and co-founder of Sweet Inspirations Artisan Chocolates.
