Nantucket Clipper Chocolatier, which owns Sweet Inspirations on the island of Nantucket and the Chocolate Café in Magnolia, has been awarded with the designation of the Best of Boston, North for their chocolate creations. The Nantucket Island based company was founded in 1981 by John and Kathy West.

The Chocolate Café at 2 Lexington Ave. makes the most incredibly delicious chocolates and confections from the highest quality ingredients. They buy their chocolate from Belgium and their sugar-free chocolate from Germany.

Every step in the operation of this world class chocolate experience is carefully monitored by the Family's management team. Some of the signature creations of the Chocolate Café are the world class truffles made with the finest liquors, fresh cream and highest quality chocolate, and of course the chocolate covered orange peel noted by the Best of Boston writers--an experience with an understated elegance.

In addition to serving the finest quality chocolates over the counter, The Chocolate Café specializes in corporate gifts such as baskets, designer tins created with original artwork by Barbara Capizzo, a Nantucket Island artist, and custom totes for that special gift giving.
